Hello Frost Lake Families! 🐝

I am so thrilled to welcome you to another wonderful school year at Frost Lake! Education is my true life’s passion, and I am honored to serve our community. I’ve been fortunate to spend 29 wonderful years with Saint Paul Public Schools—serving 13 years as a classroom teacher, ten years as a Positive Behavior Intervention Coach, three years as an Arts Integration Coach, two years as your Assistant Principal, and now three years as your Principal.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have three boys who keep us active outdoors, and as their first basketball coaches, we spend plenty of time cheering them on before they head off to high school ball! The last of the Ehlers boys will be graduating this year, and that will be hard on my mom heart. 

Above all, I want every single child and family to know that you belong here. Creating a school environment rooted in dignity, inclusion, and deep mutual respect is at the heart of everything we do. We are true partners in your child’s growth and success, and my door is always open to support you and ensure your child has a joyful, enriching experience at Frost.
