Staff Profile

Meet Kris Anderson. This will be my 31^th year teaching in St. Paul. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy. I graduated from Concordia College St. Paul in 1991 with teaching licenses in Pre-K, Kindergarten and Elementary Education.  I received her Master’s in Education from the University of St. Thomas in 1996. Currently, I am working on obtaining the MN K-12 Reading Licensure from St. Thomas

I grew up in the Twin Cities and attended St. Paul schools from Kindergarten - High School.  I am married and have a blended family with 6 grown children and 5 grandchildren.  I love to play games, hike, read, ride on the motorcycle, garden, travel, swim, and cook.

I believe in building a strong community in the classroom to ensure authentic relationships with students as they learn and grow.
