Staff Profile

Eric Larson
Welcome! I am Mr. Larson. I feel fortunate to have your student in my 4thgrade classroom this year. I have been teaching in Saint Paul Public Schools for 25 years. I have been at Frost Lake for the entire time and have had the chance to teach many different grade levels. The last several years have been focused on working the fourth and fifth grade students. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter and dogs. I am a passionate Minnesota Gopher football fan.. I also enjoy reading for pleasure to relax.
I believe that students should have fun in school. I want students to feel safe, respected and supported within the classroom. I work hard with the students to create a climate where the students care for and support each other. Students have opportunities to learn in many formats, explore new concepts using hands on and technology resources and practice what they know in small groups and individually. Frost Lake's motto is "Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be a Learner and Be Safe" and my classroom holds these expectations all while having fun.
